I received an email this morning from staff at the San Francisco Marathon. With the marathon a month away, ambassadors received some exciting information regarding volunteering at the expo and some fun events leading up to the race on Sunday, July 27. This year’s expo will be held at Fort Mason, which is part of the race course and happens to be three blocks from our apartment, so I’m really excited about the convenience of the festivities.

While I don’t have any real time goals for this race, a new PR for the course (the only road marathon course I’ve raced) would be nice. Jesse will be running with me, and hopefully completing Vineman Aquabike (2.4 miles of swimming and 112 miles of biking) the day prior will be enough to slow him down (not likely).
