Last week, Jesse and I were jonesing for takeout. Healthy takeout. While we usually opt for ethnic food (Thai, Indian) or Pacific Catch for delicious veggie and rice bowls with fish, we wanted to try something new (and fast).
Enter Sprig. Cooked by former Google executive chef Nate Keller, Sprig promises a fresh, hot meal delivered to your door in less than 20 minutes. And the service did not disappoint. A few iPhone clicks and $22 later, Jesse and I were eating delicious healthy meals consisting of a protein, carb, and vegetable within 15 minutes of ordering. Thankfully, Sprig offers vegetarian options for my needs and served me a meal with an ingredient I wouldn’t normally make myself: tempeh. Jesse also enjoyed his beef dish. The portion was large enough to satisfy our large appetites, and the ingredients tasted fresh and well-spiced.
We will definitely be ordering from Sprig again!
Oh wow, incredibly YUUUUM!!! XOXO!!! Hope you’re having a lovely week!! XOXO!!
Looks good and like a good service. Isn’t it funny how ‘ethnic’ food always seems to be a healthier option than domestic?
That looks fantastic! Wish I had that up here in Toronto!
I am a tad bit jealous. I have the hardest time finding good stuff like that lately. That looks awesome and a healthy bonus!
That is AMAZING. I wish we had better options for healthy food delivery around here. I’d never leave my house.
