Yesterday morning, Jesse and I set out for a run. He was aiming for two hours per his ironman training program, and I was just along for the ride. I felt absolutely terrible during this run: my nose ran constantly and I coughed a ton (thanks to my never-ending sinus infection), my right IT band killed me, and the entire run felt laborious and slow.
I told Jesse to ditch me around mile two, and he continued to run almost a half marathon with some serious elevation on the Presidio trails. I slugged along for nine miles, taking photos of the gorgeous scenery and trying to not get too down on my less-than-stellar run.
I plan on redeeming myself with a solid run on my birthday this Thursday. I have a deep tissue massage appointment on Wednesday, so I’m sure that’ll help my poor IT bands.
Sounds like a tough run but you got some BEAUTIFUL pictures out of it!
Thanks! The scenery wasn’t too terrible. 🙂
Cool shot
Thanks!
Ouch, hope the IT is ok!
Thanks! It just needs some TLC
You took some really great pictures! I mean the actual pictures, besides the fact that SF is gorgeous.
Thanks! It is quite beautiful, very easy photography subject. 🙂
Happy early birthday.
Aww, thanks!
