Taylor and I woke up to another much needed downpour this morning. Although Taylor is a bit under the weather and decided to make the most of our recovery week by taking a second rest day, I left for the gym bright and early (er, dark and stormy). Lucky for me, this early bird had plenty of worms to choose from: the gym was completely empty. It served as another reminder that the morning is the best time for “me time” – it’s my best opportunity to train and relax before the uncertainty of the workday sets in – rain or shine.
