Here are our picks for the best links this week:
- Both Jesse and I lived on this hill (separately) when we first moved to San Francisco. Telegraph Hill has some of the best views in San Francisco, especially when the panorama is a reward for climbing the Filbert steps.
- Some proof that athleticism, as measured by burpees, will extend your lifespan. Endurance exercise may not be enough to live a long, healthy life.
- Going along with the long, healthy life theme, HuffPo produced a list of ways to live to 100. Most of these are common sense, like walk a lot, stop smoking, and eat fiber, but some, like marry someone of the same sex and have a daughter (if you’re a dad), are thought-provoking.
- Burger King’s quest to remain relevant in a more health-conscious world is depressing. I haven’t eaten fast food (other than Chipotle) in years; suffice it to say I will not be indulging in Satisfries.
-
Unlikely animal friendships are one of my favorite things. I have a calendar on my desk at work.
I’m always saying I want to live to be over 100, awesome list!
